產品設計師 Product Designer (UXR)
Description
Leave your mark on the world.
At Garmin, we're united by a shared mission: to enrich lives through technology that matters — from GPS navigation to fitness wearables, and products we're still imagining.
We're looking for an experienced UX researcher who brings both rigor and empathy to the table, and who wants to turn real human behavior into product direction used by millions of people worldwide.
▲ What we offer
1. The opportunity to influence products at the intersection of hardware, software, and real human behavior
2. A collaborative environment where research is valued as an important input to design and product discussions
3. Work that reaches real people — on trails, in gyms, on oceans, and everywhere in between
▲ What you will do
1. Plan and conduct product research and human factors research across wearable devices, mobile apps, and connected experiences—from early discovery to post-launch evaluation.
2. Design and execute research to understand user needs, behaviors, usability, ergonomics and overall product experience.
3. Translate user behaviors, needs, and pain points into clear, actionable insights that shape product direction
4. Partner with designers, engineers, and product teams to ensure research evidence drives informed decisions
5. Participate in design reviews alongside IxD — bringing research perspective into the shape of the product
▲ What you will bring
1. Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research that answers key product questions—from discovery research to usability testing and human factors evaluations.
2. Communicate research findings through compelling reports, presentations, and storytelling that influence product decisions.
3. Drive product decisions by translating research insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
▲ What we're looking for
1. Familiar with a broad range of research methodologies and usability evaluation processes; able to select and adapt methods to fit project needs
2. Possesses excellent communication and storytelling skills to collaborate effectively with domestic and international teams; professional English ability required
3. Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and the ability to synthesize complex findings into clear, actionable insights
4. Comfortable solving ambiguous product problems through research and evidence.
5. Bonus: experience conducting research for hardware products, wearables, or health and fitness domains
