Job Description

This dynamic hybrid role combines high-end graphic design, promo writing, and location production to bring Queensland’s local content to life across broadcast and 9Now streaming platforms. You will drive creative campaigns end-to-end to deliver compelling content that engages audiences and elevates local programming and partnerships.

Day to day you will:

  • Conceptualise, script, and pitch high-impact promo campaigns and integrated partner assets.

  • Establish distinct visual identities, style guides, and motion graphics across broadcast and digital.

  • Direct location and studio shoots while guiding talent and operating field production equipment.

  • Execute hands-on video editing, motion design, typography, and audio post-production.

  • Adapt and optimise motion and static creative assets specifically for digital channels.

  • Manage high-volume production workflows efficiently to deliver broadcast-ready masters on schedule.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally and offer informal creative guidance to team members.

What you'll bring:

  • Prior experience in promo producing, writing, or motion graphic design within media or agencies.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-platform media campaigns from concept to delivery.

  • Strong video editing skills with proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.

  • Motion graphics expertise using After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

  • Experience in emerging AI technologies including Adobe Firefly and Google AI platforms.

  • Some knowledge of Viz RT, Element and Blendr would be an advantage.

  • Practical field production experience, including camera operation and studio lighting.

  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of meeting fast-turnaround deadlines.

  • A strong understanding of the Australian media landscape and market trends.
