DevOps Engineer
Summary
A backend/DevOps engineer who designs, builds, and runs Java 17+ / Spring Boot microservices, documents and refines designs, and ensures quality through automated testing and CI/CD pipelines, while also joining DevOps incident management.
We are seeking a backend engineer to design, build and run various backend systems in a microservice landscape. You will be responsible for documenting, refining designs, implementing best practices, and ensuring quality through automated testing and CI/CD pipelines. Key responsibilities
Design, build, and run backend microservices.
Provide appropriate documentation, reporting, and formalization.
Actively contribute to design and refinement sessions.
Apply security, quality, and availability best practices.
Contribute to automated quality controls in CI/CD pipelines.
Create and conduct automated unit and integration tests.
Participate in the regular DevOps incident management process.
Required qualifications
Demonstrable experience with Java17+ and Spring Boot.
Experience with design patterns, methodologies, and Clean Code principles.
Insight into different test levels (unit tests, functional tests, API tests, mocking, end-to-end tests).
Nice to have
Experience with Kotlin.
Experience with build & deployment tools such as Maven, Git, Docker, and Ansible.
Experience with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.
Experience with Linux scripting and DevOps tooling.
