Epic Patient Access Analyst (Cadence/Prelude/MyChart)

Summary

Configure and support Epic Patient Access tools (Cadence, Prelude, MyChart) to optimize scheduling, registration, and digital engagement for a healthcare client’s go-live.

Superlanet is exclusively seeking an Epic Patient Access & Digital Engagement Analyst for our East Coast-based healthcare client.

This is a remote contract opportunity through the end of the year, supporting a large-scale Epic implementation across multiple community health centers. Our client has a strong preference to convert the selected consultant to a full-time employee following the initial engagement, although conversion is not required. Candidates must reside on the East Coast and be available for monthly onsite travel.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Epic Patient Access, with hands-on experience supporting Cadence, Prelude, MyChart, Campaigns (Cheers CRM), and Hello World. Our client is also open to candidates whose primary expertise is in Cadence and Prelude with exposure to MyChart and Campaigns. While deep ownership of MyChart and Campaigns is not required, candidates should be comfortable supporting these applications and collaborating across Patient Access and Digital Engagement workflows.

This individual will play a key role in driving patient engagement, digital self-service adoption, scheduling optimization, and outreach initiatives in preparation for a November Epic go-live.

Responsibilities

  • Build, configure, and support Epic workflows within Cadence, Prelude, MyChart, Campaigns (Cheers CRM), and Hello World.
  • Configure and optimize MyChart functionality, including:
    • Online scheduling
    • Appointment reminders
    • Patient messaging
    • Self-arrival and self-check-in
    • Digital registration
  • Support patient outreach and engagement initiatives through Campaigns (Cheers CRM) and Hello World.
  • Partner with operational, clinical, and technical teams to improve Patient Access and Digital Engagement workflows.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, design sessions, build, testing, training, go-live readiness, and post-go-live support.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, recommend workflow improvements, and support ongoing optimization efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless patient experience across scheduling, registration, and digital engagement platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • Epic Certified in Cadence.
  • Epic Certified in Prelude.
  • MyChart certification or equivalent hands-on build/support experience.
  • Campaigns (Cheers CRM) certification or exposure supporting Campaigns workflows.
  • Hello World Badge or experience supporting Hello World functionality.
  • 3+ years of Epic Patient Access build and support experience.
  • Experience supporting scheduling, registration, insurance verification, referrals, and digital patient engagement workflows.
  • Previous Epic implementation, optimization, or go-live experience.
  • Ability to travel monthly to client sites on the East Coast.

  • Epic Security Certification.
  • Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) Certification.
  • Welcome experience.
  • Referrals & Authorizations Certification.
  • Community Connect experience.
  • FQHC or Community Health Center experience.
  • Experience supporting multi-site Epic implementations.


Benefits

Pay rate based on qualifications and experience $80.00 - $90.00/hr +
