Field Engineer - India

You will partner with enterprise customers to evaluate Cursor, run technical discovery, demonstrations, and proofs of concept, and design solutions for their engineering workflows. You will advise technical stakeholders, deliver workshops, relay customer feedback, and support account expansion and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements with Account Executives
• Build trusted relationships with engineering leaders, architects, and developers
• Translate customer requirements into solution designs
• Guide customers on rollout practices, prompt strategy, and context configuration
• Deliver technical presentations, whiteboard sessions, and hands-on workshops
• Advocate for customers internally and escalate feedback to Product and Engineering
• Coordinate post-sales handoffs and customer onboarding
• Maintain knowledge of product capabilities and the competitive landscape
• Support strategic account planning and expansion opportunities through technical validation

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and executive presence
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle, engineering organizations, and developer productivity challenges
• Technical fluency in technical workflows, AI tooling, and debugging complex environments
• Experience in field engineering, solutions architecture, pre-sales, or consulting for enterprise software
