IT Intern

About the role

The IT Intern will support Eliz Group's day-to-day technology operations and digitalisation initiatives. The role provides hands-on exposure to IT infrastructure, internal business systems, cloud services, technical support, system testing, and cybersecurity practices. The intern will work closely with the technology team to troubleshoot issues, support system improvements, maintain technical documentation, and contribute to projects that improve the efficiency and reliability of the company's technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day IT support for employees, including hardware, software, network, printer, and account-related issues.

• Support the setup and maintenance of laptops, desktops, office networks, user accounts, and business applications.

• Assist with internal systems, cloud infrastructure, websites, and business applications.

• Support troubleshooting and documentation of technical issues.

• Assist with system testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment of new internal applications or features.

• Support basic cybersecurity, access control, system monitoring, backup, and IT asset management activities.

• Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures.

• Work with the technology team on automation, system improvement, and digitalisation projects.

• Perform other technology-related tasks as assigned.

About you

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of computers, networking, operating systems, and common business applications.

• Knowledge of programming, cloud platforms, databases, networking, or web development is an advantage.

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Willing to learn new technologies and work independently when required.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
