IT Manager

Salary: RM 7,000 – RM 10,000 per month

About the role

Manage and support the company's IT systems, software, servers, networks and infrastructure. Lead and support the IT team in daily operations and technical matters, while planning and managing IT projects, system improvements and upgrades.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise SQL Server, including performance, backup and security

• Work with external vendors on system issues, upgrades and integrations, including systems such as AutoCount

• Support data reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI

• Oversee IT assets, system setup, maintenance and troubleshooting

• Implement and maintain data protection, user access controls and cybersecurity measures

• Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 27001 requirements, including information security controls, documentation and compliance activities

• Plan and manage IT projects, system improvements and upgrades

• Handle other IT-related tasks and projects assigned by Management

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role

• Experience in SQL Server, AutoCount, Power BI, servers and networking

• Knowledge or experience in ISO 27001 / information security management will be an added advantage

• Strong problem-solving, communication and project management skills

• Responsible, hands-on and able to work independently as well as lead a team
