IT System Analyst PLM & MES (Techno-Functional) - (near BTS bearing)
Summary
Techno-functional IT system analyst owning PLM and MES systems at a semiconductor manufacturer in Bangkok: gathering requirements, writing specs, managing PLM-MES/SAP data flows, troubleshooting with SQL, running SIT/UAT in Jira, and supporting migration, cutover and hypercare. Core stack: PLM/MES (Camstar/Opcenter), Oracle/SQL Server, C#/.NET, REST APIs.
JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES
Gather & analyze PLM/MES requirements; write functional/technical specs & mapping.
Own PLM–MES/downstream data flow (ActiveL, BWIP, SAP); define interface specs.
Troubleshoot issues via SQL, logs, code/interface review; drive root cause to closure.
Prepare & run SIT/UAT E2E: scenarios, scripts, test data; track issues in Jira.
Support data migration validation, cutover, wave rollout & hypercare.
Handle SSR/CR & post go-live issues; assess impact across connected systems.
Maintain specs, interface docs, SOPs & user guides; train users and IT support.
REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, MIS or related fields.
At least 5 years as System Analyst / Business Analyst / techno-functional consultant in manufacturing IT, with at least 2 years on PLM or MES implementation or support.
Semiconductor / OSAT or electronics manufacturing background is highly preferred.
Strong SQL (Oracle / SQL Server) for data analysis, validation & troubleshooting.
Read/review code & interfaces: C#/.NET, PowerBuilder, REST API/web services, batch jobs.
PLM concepts: Part/Product, BOM, BOR/routing, lifecycle, change mgmt.
MES concepts: product/flow/operation setup, order/lot release, WIP (Camstar/Opcenter a plus).
Nice to have: OSAT process, SAP PP/MM interface, Jira, Excel/Power BI, data migration.
