Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support to customers to ensure optimal product performance and correct product handling.
• Support product installation, evaluation, qualification, and customer acceptance processes for critical applications.
• Assist customers with equipment setup, routine maintenance, and mechanical drawing simulations.
• Monitor and evaluate product performance, documenting test-floor observations and results.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, implement corrective actions, and minimise operational downtime.
• Respond to urgent customer support requests, including emergency on-site interventions when required.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve product performance.
• Collect, analyse, and report yield, defect, and performance data to support product enhancements.
• Gather customer feedback, technical requirements, and market insights to support continuous product development.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying new application opportunities.
• Prepare technical reports and provide translation support between customers and engineering teams where required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, test engineering, or a related industry.
• Proficiency in the Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking engineers and stakeholders, and for technical report translation.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills for customer interaction and technical reporting.
• Willingness to travel within Singapore for customer visits and urgent on-site support.
• Experience working in production, manufacturing, cleanroom, or semiconductor test-floor environments.
• Basic understanding of IC packaging, test sockets, pogo pins, or semiconductor testing processes.
• Experience in customer application support or technical support is an added advantage.
• Failure Analysis (FA) or Quality Assurance (QA) experience is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with test handlers, Automated Test Equipment (ATE), load boards, or final-test operations is an added advantage.
• Experience reading mechanical drawings or performing drawing simulations is an added advantage.
