Responsibilities
- Design scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build RESTful APIs that support mobile and web applications
- Develop secure, reliable microservices with strong performance
- Optimize database models and data access layers
- Integrate third-party platforms and external APIs
- Collaborate with engineers, QA, product, and architects to deliver solutions
- Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and technical decisions
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve scalability and reliability
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code that follows best practices
- Improve delivery practices through CI/CD, automation, and modern development workflows
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional Java development experience
- 2+ years of hands-on Spring Boot experience
- Solid REST API design experience
- Practical microservices architecture knowledge
- Relational database experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server
- JPA/Hibernate experience or similar persistence framework knowledge
- Agile/Scrum teamwork experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Upper-Intermediate English (B2) proficiency, spoken and written
Nice to have
- Cloud platform experience (AWS or GCP)
- Docker experience
- Kubernetes experience
- OAuth2 and Single Sign-On (SSO) knowledge
