Mechanical Technician - Equipment Assembly (Yishun | Semiconductor)
Summary
Assembles, tests, and maintains semiconductor equipment in a production environment, following technical documentation and troubleshooting issues.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, test, clean, and pack equipment in accordance with technical documentation
- Maintain and service machines, tools, and consumables within the production area
- Support the development and revision of assembly-related technical procedures
- Troubleshoot and analyse equipment or customer-reported issues to identify root causes
- Implement best practices and support continuous improvement initiatives in assembly processes
- Maintain accurate records of assembly activities, test results, and documentation
- Assist with general production and ad-hoc operational tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably within semiconductor environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical assembly and testing applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Proficiency in Mandarin language is an added advantage for liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders
