Job Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing daily production activities, ensuring compliance with GMP, safety, quality, and production schedules. The role includes supervising manpower, maintaining production documentation, planning shifts, and ensuring smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to achieve production targets.
  

• Ensure proper execution and review of BMR (Batch Manufacturing Record) and BPR (Batch Packaging Record) documentation.
  

• Perform and verify line clearance before batch start-up and after batch completion.
  

• Plan and allocate manpower based on production schedules and shift requirements.
  

• Prepare and manage shift planning and duty rosters.
  

• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, and safety standards.
  

• Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse, Engineering, and Maintenance departments.
  

• Monitor machine performance and report breakdowns for timely maintenance.
  

• Ensure proper material reconciliation and minimize wastage.
  

• Maintain production reports, shift handover records, and daily logbooks.
  

• Train production operators on SOPs, GMP, safety, and work instructions.
  

• Implement 5S, Lean practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  

• Ensure housekeeping and compliance with EHS requirements.
  

Qualifications

• B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Sc., Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Manufacturing or a related field.
  

• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical production environment.
  

• Knowledge of GMP, BMR, BPR, Line Clearance, SOPs, and Documentation.
  

• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems is preferred.
