Production Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Production Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing production environments and ensuring the stability and performance of applications. This role involves working closely with development teams to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement solutions to enhance system reliability. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and maintain production systems to ensure high availability and performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and minimize downtime. - Conduct thorough troubleshooting and RCA for production issues, documenting findings and solutions. - Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes and improve efficiency. - Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. - Provide support for big data technologies and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP. - Maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and incident reports. - Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support as needed. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Linux operating systems and shell scripting. - Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker. - Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud services (AWS, GCP). - Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools. - Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience in incident management. - Knowledge of networking concepts and middleware technologies. - Experience with databases and production support processes.
