Program Analyst

Summary

Performs budget and program analysis for environmental cleanup programs, manages funds, and prepares fiscal reports for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

About the Position: You will perform budget and program analysis activities for the Environmental & Munitions Design Center (EMDC) for all environmental programs, to include, but limited to the Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP), Army Environmental Quality/Compliance Cleanup, FUSRAP, Superfund, Support to Others, and Military-funded activities. You will also assist with yearly budget preparation and review.

Accept, manage, and/or disburse funds for all environmental programs in the Environmental and Munitions Design Center.

Identify appropriate standard project templates and develop documentation relating to scope, schedule, and budget, based on broad knowledge of government programs and/or acquisition strategies for entry into an automated information system.

Compile programmatic and/or budget reports for use in developing and/or executing fiscal year budget updates for the branch.

Apply common funding authorizations, appropriations, and/or applicable laws used to make decisions related to project execution, and/or resolve funding deficiencies with staff.
