Project Manager (ERP / Odoo Implementation)

Salary: ฿80,000 – ฿120,000 per month

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage ERP implementation projects for enterprise and mid-sized clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, from project planning and requirement alignment to system implementation, deployment, and post-go-live support.

This role will initially oversee multiple ERP implementation projects, including a large-scale, multi-country rollout, requiring strong project governance, stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional and international teams.

The ideal candidate should have a solid background in ERP implementation projects such as Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, with proven experience managing complex projects in corporate environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. ERP Project Management & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.

• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, resource allocation, and implementation schedules.

• Oversee project activities across the full implementation lifecycle, including requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, go-live, and hypercare.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting project management approaches to different client sizes and business requirements.

2. Stakeholder Management & Project Governance

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

• Lead project meetings and present project progress, risks, issues, and key decisions to senior management and steering committees.

• Establish and maintain project governance, including project charters, RACI, status reports, risk and issue logs, and change requests.

• Facilitate alignment between business users, IT teams, consultants, developers, and external vendors.

3. Multi-Country ERP Rollout & Integration

• Manage multi-phase ERP rollout projects across Thailand and other countries, including Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

• Coordinate with regional teams and international stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation and alignment with local business requirements.

• Manage ERP integration initiatives, particularly in environments where Odoo operates alongside existing enterprise systems such as SAP.

• Oversee data migration, system integration, localization, and cross-functional dependencies.

4. Risk, Change & Quality Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Manage scope changes through formal change request processes, including impact assessment on project timelines, costs, and resources.

• Oversee UAT, cutover planning, go-live readiness, and project sign-off.

• Proactively resolve project challenges and escalate critical issues to relevant stakeholders.

5. Team & Resource Management

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including ERP consultants, developers, QA, business analysts, and client-side teams.

• Monitor team performance, resource utilization, and project deliverables.

• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between internal teams, clients, and external implementation partners.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in IT Project Management, with significant experience managing ERP implementation projects.

• Proven track record of leading end-to-end ERP implementation projects, preferably in large enterprises, public companies, or multi-entity organizations.

• Experience with at least one major ERP platform, such as:

  • SAP S/4HANA / SAP ECC

  • Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP / Oracle E-Business Suite

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

  • Odoo ERP (Enterprise or Community)

  • Infor, Epicor, IFS, or other enterprise ERP solutions.

• Experience managing project governance, steering committees, executive reporting, change requests, UAT, and go-live sign-offs.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work with C-level executives and cross-functional teams.

• Experience in multi-company, multi-site, or multi-country ERP rollout projects is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of ERP integration, data migration, and business process alignment.

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to lead meetings, prepare documentation, and communicate with international teams.

• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, leadership, and decision-making skills.

• PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications are an advantage.

Working Conditions

• Willingness to work onsite at client locations, primarily in the Chatuchak area, Bangkok.

• Willingness to work onsite at TDPK on Mondays and Tuesdays.

• Able to coordinate with international teams across different countries and time zones.

• Comfortable managing both large-scale enterprise projects and smaller, budget-conscious implementation projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in ERP implementation within manufacturing, building materials, distribution, or packaging industries.

• Experience working with SAP and Odoo in a hybrid ERP environment.

• Experience coordinating with System Integrators (SI) and external implementation partners.

• Experience managing regional ERP templates, localization, and multi-country deployment.
