Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Python, Django, DRF, and FastAPI.
- Design REST APIs, integrate third-party services, and implement authentication and authorization.
- Optimize database queries, application performance, and API response times.
- Write reusable, maintainable, and testable code.
- Implement asynchronous processing and background tasks.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and deploy applications to production.
Required Skills
- Python: OOP, decorators, generators, iterators, exception handling, type hints, multithreading, multiprocessing, and async/await.
- Django & DRF: ORM optimization, middleware, serializers, ViewSets, authentication, permissions, caching, and migrations.
- FastAPI: Pydantic, dependency injection, async endpoints, middleware, JWT authentication, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Databases: PostgreSQL/MySQL, SQL queries, joins, indexing, transactions, and query optimization.
- API & Architecture: REST API design, microservices fundamentals, design patterns, and API security.
- Testing: Pytest, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Deployment: Git, Docker, Linux, Nginx, CI/CD, and basic AWS knowledge.
Preferred Skills
- Redis, Celery, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
- WebSockets, application monitoring, and performance profiling.
- Cloud deployment and production troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on Python backend development experience.
- Practical experience building and deploying production APIs.
