Job Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections for structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications and relevant standards.

• Monitor site activities involving reinforced concrete works, formwork, steel reinforcement and concreting.

• Conduct inspections before, during and after concreting works to ensure quality requirements are met.

• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, supervisors and subcontractors on quality-related matters.

• Prepare and maintain inspection records, checklists, quality reports and other QA/QC documentation.

• Identify defects and non-conformities, recommend corrective actions and follow up to ensure rectification.

• Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients and relevant project personnel.

• Ensure structural works comply with approved method statements, inspection and test plans, and project quality procedures.

• Assist in preparing quality documentation and reports for project submission.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience in QA/QC for structural construction works will be an advantage.

• Knowledge of structural works, reinforced concrete construction, formwork and steel reinforcement.

• Familiarity with construction drawings, inspection procedures and quality documentation.

• Good communication, coordination and documentation skills.

• Responsible, meticulous and able to work independently at construction sites.
