Senior Automation Engineer ( Selenium)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Build and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java/TestNG/JUnit.
• Analyze business requirements and create automation test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Integration, and End-to-End testing.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
• Execute automated test runs and analyze test results.
• Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to resolve defects.
• Maintain test reports, defect logs, and quality metrics using JIRA.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior automation engineers and support best practices.

Required Skills

• 3-6 years of QA experience with at least 3 years in Automation Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Proficiency in Java and automation frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Experience in API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Good knowledge of SQL queries and database validation.
• Experience with Maven, Git, and version control tools.
• Exposure to Jenkins/Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Banking, Payments, Cards, Digital Banking, Lending, or Financial Services domain.
• Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Experience with cloud-based test execution platforms.
