Senior Business Analyst

Salary: Hourly rate contract | ASAP Start

We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a delivery-focused project team in Christchurch. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working through complex business and system environments, getting clarity around requirements and working closely with stakeholders to keep delivery moving.

• Duration: Immediate start – mid December 2026
• Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite in Christchurch
• Engagement: Hourly Rate Contract

What you’ll be doing:

• Running workshops and stakeholder interviews to understand current-state processes, business needs and requirements
• Producing clear BA artefacts including requirements, process maps, data mappings and impact assessments
• Working with business and technical teams to understand systems, information flows and dependencies
• Assessing solution options, risks and dependencies to support practical recommendations
• Supporting delivery through requirements refinement, prioritisation and implementation planning

What we’re looking for:

• Solid experience as a Business Analyst across complex business and system change
• Strong stakeholder management and requirements analysis skills
• Comfortable working across systems, data and information environments
• Good documentation, process mapping and analytical skills
• Able to work through ambiguity and turn complex information into clear recommendations
• Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments
