We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join an agile delivery team supporting the migration of our platform to the cloud in a large-scale banking environment. In this role, you will contribute to building the next-generation platform, solving complex enterprise-wide challenges, and enabling cloud-based data solutions. You will collaborate with dedicated professionals to drive innovation and advance our cloud journey. This role offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the client's office in Krakow. Responsibilities
- Assist in transition of the platform to cloud infrastructure within a major banking setting
- Participate in design and development of advanced solutions to address complex, organization-wide requirements
- Facilitate the adoption of cloud-based data storage and support the evolution of the system into microservices
- Work closely with a team of skilled professionals to foster innovation and progress in cloud initiatives
- Build and enhance applications with Java (versions 8–21), Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
- Integrate Kafka for efficient messaging and event processing
- Manage and optimize large Oracle Database environments
- Contribute to the stability and effectiveness of a global, business-critical system
- Aid in the incorporation of the platform into emerging infrastructure within the business domain
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java (versions 8–21)
- Experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
- Familiarity with Hibernate for ORM
- Knowledge of Kafka for messaging and event streaming
- Experience with large Oracle Databases
- Ability to contribute to a global system that supports operations across multiple regions
- Understanding of business-critical and stable project environments
- Willingness to participate in long-term transformation of systems into microservices hosted in the cloud
- Readiness to support integration into new infrastructure within the domain
- 3 days in the office per week is a must
