Project
You will be involved in a finance transformation project focused on regulatory reporting, data governance, and data quality management. The role centers on designing and enhancing data-driven reporting solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, improving data lineage and transparency, and enabling accurate, scalable reporting across complex financial and banking data environments.
Responsibilities you'll have
Analyze, interpret, and manage large and complex data sets to support regulatory reporting and finance-related initiatives
Define, document, and maintain data structures, data lineage, and ETL processes across multiple systems and applications
Contribute to the end-to-end solution design, including data controls, reconciliations, analysis, reporting processes, and sign-off procedures
Document metadata and data lineage, ensuring clear understanding of data sources, assumptions, regulatory obligations, and reporting frameworks
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and challenge requirements, ensuring alignment and formal sign-off
Design and deliver regulatory reporting solutions using databases, reporting platforms, BI tools, and calculation engines
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of data governance, data quality, and reporting controls in line with regulatory expectations
Leverage AI-powered tools and technologies to improve efficiency, automate processes, and identify innovative long-term use cases
Utilize JIRA and other project management tools to track requirements, manage delivery, and support agile ways of working
Expected competences and knowledge
5–10 years of professional experience required within data analysis, regulatory reporting, finance transformation, or related domains
Proven experience working with large-scale data sets and strong SQL skills, including hands-on experience with databases such as Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL Server, or similar platforms
Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, data lineage, and metadata management
Solid knowledge of accounting principles, balance sheet structures, and financial instruments
Good understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and data quality expectations, including frameworks such as CRR, BCBS 239, and other relevant regulations
Proven track record of delivering reporting and analytics solutions using various technologies, databases, reporting tools, BI platforms, and calculation engines
Experience in documenting business and functional requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions, challenge assumptions, and obtain formal approvals
Experience working in Agile environments and practical proficiency in JIRA
Interest in and practical application of AI technologies to improve business processes and drive innovation
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality deliverables
