Senior Resident Architect
Job Description
- Lead and manage the architectural site supervision team for major building construction and fit-out works.
- Monitor, supervise, and inspect construction activities in accordance with directions from CAG, QP(S), and project consultants.
- Plan and manage shift rosters based on contractors' work schedules while ensuring compliance with relevant employment regulations and staff welfare requirements.
- Collaborate with QP(D) and QP(S) to resolve design, construction, and technical issues related to temporary and permanent works.
- Administer contracts and supervise project execution in accordance with Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC).
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, quality control procedures, construction administration processes, and progress reporting requirements.
- Promote and enforce Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards and ensure adherence to all applicable procedures, manuals, and airport circulars.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the supervision team to ensure project objectives, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Architecture recognized by the Board of Architects and currently registered with the Board of Architects.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience as an architectural professional, including at least 8 years on projects of similar size and complexity.
- Extensive experience in architectural and fit-out works for major building construction projects.
- Proven experience leading and managing site supervision teams on comparable projects.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration under PSSCOC.
- Conversant with statutory codes, site supervision requirements, quality control procedures, construction administration, and progress reporting.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and health standards.
- Familiar with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) procedures, manuals, regulations, and applicable airport circulars.
