Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Description
About Archer
A new regulatory change lands somewhere in the world every six minutes, and agentic AI is outpacing most teams' ability to govern it. At Archer, we help the enterprises powering the global economy turn that pressure into an advantage. Mandates like the EU AI Act and the SEC cybersecurity disclosure rules are driving the most significant GRC buying cycle we have seen in years. That demand is why we are growing this team. This is hard work that matters. Our customers span energy, utilities, financial services, pharmaceuticals, and the public institutions communities depend on. People choose Archer because they get to partner with the most trusted brands in the world, on work that protects the customers and communities those brands serve.
If that sounds like your kind of work, let's chat.
The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Sales Development Representative to lead outbound and inbound prospecting efforts across Archer’s target market, while mentoring other SDRs and helping shape our go-to-market approach. The role requires someone who can creatively differentiate enterprise business solutions, build relationships with prospects, and represent Archer’s vision for adaptive, intelligent risk management.
You’ll be the first point of contact for many organizations, consulting on how Archer’s solutions fit their needs and helping drive pipeline growth across our Integrated Risk Management platform. Partnering with Account Managers & Executives, Marketing and Sales leadership, you’ll play a critical role in generating qualified pipeline and connecting prospective customers with Archer’s solutions. This role builds a strong foundation for future growth across sales, enablement, and go-to-market functions.
What You’ll Do
Prospecting & Pipeline Generation
- Lead prospecting into more complex accounts, qualifying leads from marketing campaigns to create sales opportunities.
- Define and refine varied prospecting strategies across inbound and outbound sales calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
- Develop relationships with new and existing prospects, consulting on how Archer's solutions and services align with their business needs.
Discovery & Opportunity Development
- Schedule and, where needed, help run discovery meetings between Business Development Managers and prospects.
- Lead qualification conversations to understand customer needs, priorities, and fit for Archer solutions, including for higher-complexity accounts.
- Partner with sales teams to ensure a seamless transition from prospect engagement to active sales opportunities.
Sales Excellence & Professional Development
- Participate in a sales training program focused on prospecting, technology foundations, Archer solution knowledge, sales methodologies, and professional development.
- Continuously build expertise in Archer's products, market positioning, and customer challenges.
- Apply feedback, coaching, and training to improve sales effectiveness and prospect engagement.
- Informally mentor and coach junior SDRs — sharing feedback on prospecting techniques, objection handling, and pipeline management, and contributing to onboarding new hires with playbooks and best practices.
- Set the standard for productivity, cadence quality, and prospecting rigor that other SDRs learn from.
Performance & Operational Execution
- Achieve activity goals (daily/weekly/monthly).
- Execute outbound and inbound sales strategies to meet weekly/monthly goals for meetings booked (SQLs) and opportunities sourced.
- Maintain accurate prospect activity, pipeline data, and engagement records within CRM and sales systems.
- Collaborate with SDR leadership to share insights, inform process improvements, and build best practices.
What You Bring
- Fluent - both written and speaking Portuguese
- 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or another customer-facing, or related role, including prior SDR/BDR experience.
- Proven ability to research complex accounts, personalize outreach, and navigate buying committees.
- Track record of exceeding pipeline and meeting-booking targets.
- Knowledge of technology, products, and services relevant to enterprise software.
- Experience using Salesforce CRM or similar tools.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or informally leading other reps.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Self-starter mindset with a desire to learn and grow.
Even Better If You Have
- Experience selling B2B SaaS or enterprise technology, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools (6sense, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- A track record of developing creative outreach and prospecting strategies that increase engagement and pipeline generation.
- Experience training, onboarding, or managing entry-level SDRs.
- Experience using AI-powered sales tools (e.g., for prospecting research, personalization at scale, or call/email coaching) to boost productivity and outreach quality.
- Familiarity with Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) or Integrated Risk Management (IRM).
