Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code using best practices and coding standards.
• Architect and implement robust database solutions, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, share knowledge, and mentor junior developers.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and bugs, optimizing applications for speed and scalability.
• Contribute to the design and evolution of the overall system architecture.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending new tools and frameworks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure the security and integrity of applications and data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Proficiency in one or more modern backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Node.js).
• Extensive experience with backend frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, Spring Boot, Express.js).
• Strong understanding of database technologies (e.g., Postgre SQL, My SQL, Mongo DB) and ORM patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with experience working in agile environments.
• Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies is a plus.
