Job Description Senior Test Engineer (ATM & BASE24 Testing)

Experience: 3-5 Years
Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ATM and BASE24/Switch testing for banking and payment systems.
• Validate ATM transaction flows including:
• Cash Withdrawal
• Balance Enquiry
• Mini Statement
• Authorization & Reversal Transactions
• Decline and Exception Scenarios
• Execute Functional, Integration, End-to-End (E2E), Regression, and API/Message Validation Testing.
• Design, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements.
• Ensure successful test execution while maintaining organizational quality standards.
• Track defects, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
• Maintain test artifacts, execution reports, and project documentation repositories.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly status updates to Test Managers and Project Managers.
• Follow project processes, reporting structures, and organizational compliance standards.
• Support release validation, production verification, and UAT activities.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in ATM Testing and BASE24/Switch Testing.
• Good understanding of ATM transaction lifecycle, authorization, settlement, and reversal processes.
• Experience in API Testing, message validation, and integration testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and defect management lifecycle.
• Experience with banking and payments domain applications.
• Ability to analyze requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Good communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ISO 8583 message validation.
• Exposure to payment switches, card transactions, and banking integrations.
• Knowledge of SQL/Database testing and log analysis.
