Service Desk Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Service Desk Technician to join our team in Bangalore or Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical support and service desk operations, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As a Service Desk Technician, you will be responsible for responding to customer support queries through various channels including phone, email, chat, and social media. Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving technical issues, tracking incidents, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Provide first-level technical support for service desk operations, addressing customer inquiries and issues promptly. - Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to cloud computing, mail server settings, and domain server concepts. - Utilize your knowledge of Active Directory, API, and networking protocols to assist users effectively. - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical issues in the service desk system. - Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution. - Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in technical support and service desk management. Required Skills: - Proficiency in service desk and tech support processes, with excellent communication skills (C1 equivalent proficiency). - Strong understanding of cloud computing and its various types. - Familiarity with mail server settings (IMAP, POP, SMTP) and domain server concepts (DNS, DKIM, DMARC). - Experience with Active Directory and knowledge of LDAP, SSO, and API. - Intermediate knowledge of troubleshooting across various operating systems (Windows XP-10), browsers, and MS Office suite. - Basic networking knowledge and experience with VPN troubleshooting.
