As our ServiceNow practice continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Architect to play a key role in shaping its future. Working across ServiceNow and the broader enterprise technology landscape, you will help our clients connect their platforms, streamline business processes and unlock greater value from their technology investments.

Location: We welcome applications from candidates currently based in Brisbane or Sydney location, as well as those who are willing to relocate to Brisbane or Sydney for the opportunity.

The opportunity

This is more than a traditional solution architecture role. You will be a trusted solution advisor to our clients, providing architectural assurance across ServiceNow engagements and helping shape the technical direction of our growing practice.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will lead workshops, translate business challenges into practical and scalable solutions, and provide architectural guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle.

You will also play an important role in identifying new opportunities, supporting pre-sales activities and identify where clients need more help, and turn those conversations into new work for the practice.

Key responsibilities

Solution Architecture

• Own the end-to-end design of ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM and the wider Now Platform.

• Set platform standards, governance and design authority so instances stay upgradeable and secure.

• Design integrations with SAP, SuccessFactors and other enterprise systems using IntegrationHub, REST and MID Server.

• Guide clients on Now Assist, AI agents and automation, and where they deliver real value.

• Review build quality and coach developers and consultants on best practice.

Client Engagement and Leadership

• Lead discovery workshops, design sessions and steering meetings with senior stakeholders.

• Translate business problems into clear roadmaps, options and recommendations.

• Act as the trusted technical advisor on key accounts, building long-term relationships.

• Present confidently to executives, IT leaders and procurement teams.

Practice Development and Growth

• Find and shape new opportunities with existing clients, working closely with account managers.

• Lead the solution side of pre-sales: scoping, estimates, demos and proposal responses.

• Help build repeatable offerings, accelerators and delivery methods.

• Mentor team members and help recruit future talent.

• Represent Group Elephant at ServiceNow partner and community events.

About you

You are an experienced ServiceNow Architect who combines strong technical expertise with commercial awareness and the ability to build trusted client relationships.

You enjoy solving complex business challenges, influencing strategic decisions and working collaboratively with clients and delivery teams. You are also comfortable taking ownership, identifying opportunities and contributing to the growth of a developing practice.

Essential Experience and Capabilities

• 8+ years of experience working with ServiceNow, including at least 3 years in a Solution Architect or Technical Lead role.

• Extensive knowledge of the Now Platform, with strong experience across at least two of the following areas: ITSM, ITOM, HRSD and CSM

• Strong integration design experience, including REST APIs, IntegrationHub and MID Server.

• Proven ability to lead discovery workshops, facilitate solution design discussions and advise senior client stakeholders.

• Experience contributing to business development, pre-sales activities, solution proposals or account growth.

• Previous experience within a consulting or technology partner environment, delivering solutions for enterprise clients in Australia

• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities and translate client requirements into valuable solutions.

• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge ideas constructively.

• Must hold full Australian working rights and be currently based in Brisbane or Sydney, or be willing to relocate to either location.

Desirable Experience and Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or progress towards advanced ServiceNow architecture accreditation.

• Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) qualifications across one or more platform modules.

• Experience with Now Assist, generative AI or AI agents on the platform.

• Experience integrating ServiceNow with SAP or SuccessFactors.

• Previous experience supporting clients within the resources, energy, mining or government sectors.

• Australian Government security clearance or eligibility to obtain the relevant clearance.
