A ServiceNow developer who designs, configures, and maintains ServiceNow applications (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request modules and workflows) for a Government client, working onsite in Brisbane five days a week. Australian citizenship is required.

Role Overview
The ServiceNow Developer will support the design, configuration, and maintenance of ServiceNow applications for a Government environment. The role focuses on delivering reliable, secure, and easy-to-use ServiceNow solutions aligned with Government standards and processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Configure and develop ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request
• Develop workflows, forms, business rules, and UI policies
• Support integrations using REST APIs where required
• Perform unit testing and support system testing activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow platform issues
• Maintain technical documentation and follow change management processes
• Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams
• Ensure solutions comply with Government security and governance standards
Required Skills & Experience
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer
• Strong experience with ServiceNow configuration and scripting
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow Studio
• Experience working in ITSM environments
• Understanding of ITIL processes
• Good communication and documentation skills
Desirable Skills
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD or similar)
• Experience working on Government or large enterprise projects
• Exposure to ServiceNow integrations and reporting
