A leading financial services organisation offering a collaborative environment where technology plays a key role in supporting its clients and business.We’re looking for a Software Developer to join a small, collaborative team working across software development, application support, cloud and modern data integration.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop, test and support applications using C#, .NET, SQL and Entity Framework.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and data integrations.
- Work with Kafka, Event Hubs, ADF, dbt and cloud technologies.
- Support existing applications, monitor production environments and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the team to deliver quality, maintainable solutions.
- Strong C# / .NET development experience.
- Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework and REST APIs.
- Understanding of SOLID principles and good software design.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD.
- Cloud experience across Azure and/or AWS.
- A collaborative, adaptable and hands-on approach.
What we’re looking for
- Strong communication skills — you’ll need to be confident working collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Financial markets experience — previous experience working within financial markets is essential.
- Auckland-based — you must be currently based in Auckland.
- NZ work rights — you must have the right to work in New Zealand.
