Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications, business management systems and APIs for client projects.

• Use AI development tools to assist with coding, debugging, testing, documentation and problem-solving.

• Read and understand existing code, project documentation and requirements before making changes.

• Review, verify and improve AI-generated code to ensure it meets project requirements and coding standards.

• Investigate bugs, identify root causes and implement appropriate fixes.

• Develop and integrate APIs and third-party services.

• Test new features and changes, including checking how they affect existing functionality.

• Follow project development workflows, including Git version control, code reviews and documentation.

• Communicate progress, technical issues and proposed solutions clearly to the team.

• Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure completed work is functional and maintainable.

• Work with team members to improve development processes and make effective use of AI tools.

• Handle client and project information responsibly when using AI tools, following company guidelines.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Knowledge of PHP and MySQL.

• Familiarity with Laravel or CodeIgniter is an advantage.

• Knowledge of JavaScript, React, HTML and CSS is an advantage.

• Basic understanding of Git, REST APIs and debugging.

• Familiarity with AI coding tools, such as ChatGPT, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or similar tools, is an advantage.

• Able to read, understand and explain existing and AI-generated code.

• Able to review AI-generated solutions, identify potential issues and verify that the results work as intended.

• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to investigate issues independently.

• Willing to learn new technologies, tools and development practices.

• Responsible, proactive and able to communicate clearly with team members.

• Fresh graduates with relevant projects and a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

• Experience maintaining existing systems, integrating third-party APIs or working with AI-assisted development workflows is an advantage.
