Software Developer (SharePoint / .NET Core / React)
We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join a long-term international project delivered for a European Union Organisation based in Warsaw.
The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, maintenance, and support of enterprise-level software solutions built on Microsoft technologies, with a strong focus on SharePoint and modern web development.
The project centres around a business-critical operational platform built on SharePoint 2019 On-Premises, supporting the management of operational activities, reporting processes, and information exchange across multiple teams and stakeholders.
As part of an ongoing modernisation and enhancement programme, the platform is continuously evolved through new functionalities, process improvements, and technical optimisations to ensure its reliability, effectiveness, and alignment with operational needs.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise software solutions.
Develop and support custom SharePoint solutions, including workflows, features, timer jobs, and SDK-based developments.
Build and maintain applications using .NET / .NET Core.
Design and develop data, business logic, and presentation layers.
Integrate systems using Web Services and REST APIs.
Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities.
Produce and maintain technical documentation.
Collaborate with technical teams and contribute to solution architecture and problem-solving activities.
Required Competencies:
Participation in at least one complete software development lifecycle.
Proven experience developing enterprise-level software systems.
Strong knowledge of UML and application design.
Ability to design and develop data, business logic, and UI layers.
Experience working in Scrum environments.
Ability to lead and support technical teams.
Strong technical documentation skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
EU citizenship (mandatory).
Before joining the project, candidates will be required to provide a valid criminal record certificate issued no more than six months prior to the onboarding date.
English proficiency at B2 level (certificate is required, or the candidate must successfully pass a language audit/assessment)
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or another ICT-related field.
Technical Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of professional experience in IT.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Full-Stack SharePoint Support or Developer role.
Experience with custom SharePoint development, including SDK, workflows, timer jobs, and features.
Strong experience with: Microsoft .NET / .NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Azure DevOps Pipelines.
Experience with Web Services and REST APIs.
Good knowledge of: HTML5, CSS3 (Responsive Design), JavaScript (including ES6 concepts such as arrow functions and destructuring), TypeScript, React.
Certifications:
Candidates must hold at least one of the following:
Intermediate-level software development certification relevant to the role, or an internationally recognized equivalent certification accepted by the Contracting Authority.
Contract Details:
B2B contract with Shimi.
Delivery Mode: Remote, Near-site (regular presence in the Warsaw office required) – frequency to be agreed upon with the manager during the interview.
Candidate Rate: 260 - 315 EUR/MD
Planned Start Date: August 2026 or within 2 months from contract award/offer acceptance.
Project Duration: Approximately 4 years, with the possibility of extension based on project needs.
