SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following coding standards.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure application quality.
• Work with databases to develop and optimise SQL queries.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other developers to deliver project requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and application deployment.
• Identify and resolve application issues and support production environments when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts, Collections, and Exception Handling.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and REST APIs.
• Experience developing microservices-based applications.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
