SRE Engineer - DevOps Manager (Manila and Cebu)
Summary
Leads a Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps team for IPI in the Philippines — handling 1-on-1s, performance reviews, shift scheduling, onboarding and engineer development, while staying grounded in Linux, Kubernetes, public cloud, observability and incident management. Pays ₱150,000–₱180,000 per month.

Key of Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps, with at least 2+ years in a leadership, team lead, or people management role.
Strong technical foundation in Linux, Kubernetes, Public Cloud platforms, Observability/Monitoring tools, and Incident Management processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven ability to coach and develop engineers, with demonstrated success in advancing team members' careers and technical capabilities.
Experience managing performance, providing feedback, and handling challenging behavioral or performance-related conversations professionally.
Willingness and flexibility to participate in rotating shift schedules, including night shifts, alongside the team.
Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills with a focus on team growth, engagement, and operational excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct weekly 1-on-1 meetings, performance reviews, and employee development planning.
Manage attendance, workplace behavior, collaboration, and knowledge handovers.
Monitor team well-being, fatigue, and shift-health indicators to reduce attrition risks.
Maintain capability records and create training plans aligned with business and technical requirements.
Oversee shift schedules, leave approvals, resource allocation, and overtime management.
Lead onboarding for new hires and Academy graduates, including tools, processes, and team integration.
Support recruitment, mentoring, succession planning, and employee career progression initiatives.
