SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER

Summary

Oversee and manage global Military Groups (MILGPs) to ensure proper staffing, training, and resource allocation for U.S. security cooperation objectives.

This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for Providing authoritative advice, guidance and decisions on MILGP business practices, staffing levels at MILGPs and training requirements for the MILGP enterprise; Executing the management of MILGP human, financial, and logistics resources to ensure that the MILGP enterprise is appropriately resourced to achieve national security priorities security cooperation objectives.

As a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER at the GS-0340-15 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serves as the Assistant Director for DSCA and Director for DSCS and is responsible for all Agency matters relating to administrative control of all DoW personnel serving at U.S. embassies performing security assistance or security cooperation functions within Military Groups (MILGP.). Leads the MILGP enterprise by maintaining executive level contacts within the DoW, Military Departments, Combatant Commands, Department of State, and other elements of the Executive Branch as it relates to the civilians and military personnel assigned to global MILGPs. Provides authoritative advice, guidance and decisions on MILGP business practices, staffing levels at MILGPs and training requirements for the MILGP enterprise. Oversees the management of MILGP human, financial, and logistics resources to ensure that the MILGP enterprise is appropriately resourced to achieve national security priorities. Develops and implements program management procedures and policies for the Agency's conduct of the Foreign Military Sales, Foreign Military Financing, and DoW-funded Building Partner Capacity programs as implemented by all MILGP offices at U.S. embassies.
