System Engineer (45K+, Immediate Available)
Summary
An internal IT support engineer handling day-to-day operations: supporting servers, Windows Active Directory, email/file services and end-user devices, plus monitoring, backups, security patching and data centre work in a Tsim Sha Tsui office.
Salary: $42,000 – $45,000 per month
About the role
Join the IT team to provide reliable day-to-day support for servers, systems, end-user devices and IT infrastructure. You will help maintain secure, stable and efficient technology operations while contributing to infrastructure projects and data centre activities.
Key responsibilities
Provide daily support for servers, systems and end-user devices
Install, configure and maintain PCs, laptops, mobile devices and IT infrastructure
Support Windows Active Directory, email, file services and endpoint systems
Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, backup and routine maintenance
Assist with data centre operations and hardware installation
Perform security patching, system updates and other IT security tasks
Work with internal IT teams and contractors on infrastructure projects
Maintain IT asset records and technical documentation
Provide on-call or overtime support when required
What we're looking for
Higher Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline
At least 3 years of IT experience, including 2 years in a related area
Experience in Windows, Active Directory, system or endpoint support is preferred
Knowledge of Linux, EDR, data centre or infrastructure support is an advantage
Good troubleshooting and communication skills
Good command of Chinese and English
Data centre experience will be an advantage
