Your Role
Digit IT is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our growing team.
Based in Toowoomba, you will play a key role in delivering our service offerings: IT Support, IT Projects, Cybersecurity, Managed IT Services, Cloud Services and Business Connectivity.
This intermediate-level role is perfect for someone with solid Level 1–2 support experience and a passion for customer service.
Your Responsibilities
You'll work across a mix of Helpdesk, Projects, Cybersecurity and Microsoft Cloud environments
Deliver onsite and remote Level 1–2 technical support
Monitor and maintain networks, servers and client devices
Resolve technical issues and help clients get the most from their technology
Create and maintain client documentation
Visit clients for support, installations, and project delivery
Your Skills and Experience
Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and listening
Logical and methodical troubleshooting approach
Solid experience with Office 365 and Azure
Knowledge of virtualisation technologies (Hyper-V, VMWare)
Networking (LAN, WAN, VPN and VLAN)
Windows servers
Backup and recovery
VOIP Telephony
Attention to detail and clear, accurate and concise documentation
A valid driver’s license
Ability to build and maintain relationships
