Role Overview:
The Team Lead – Taxation Taxation will be responsible for managing all
direct and indirect tax matters, ensuring timely compliance, accurate filings,
tax planning, and audit support. The role requires strong technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Direct Taxation
- Prepare and file corporate income tax returns and related forms.
- Compute advance tax, deferred tax, and provisioning.
- Review TDS applicability, deduction, payment, and filing of TDS
returns.
- Handle 26AS reconciliations, Form 3CD clauses, and tax audit
requirements.
- Manage tax assessments, appeals, and communication with tax
authorities.
- Support transfer pricing documentation and compliance.
2. Indirect Taxation (GST)
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual
GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9, 9C).
- Review GST input tax credit reconciliations (GSTR-2B vs books).
- Verify GST applicability on transactions and exemptions.
- Handle GST audits, departmental notices, and assessments.
- Monitor e-invoicing, e-way bills, and changes in GST law.
3. Compliance & Regulatory Requirements
- Ensure compliance with all statutory timelines and regulatory
updates.
- Maintain tax records, documentation, and audit-ready working
papers.
- Review contracts for tax implications and advise stakeholders.

4. Advisory & Tax Planning
- Provide guidance on tax-efficient structures for business
transactions.
- Evaluate tax implications of new business initiatives, expansions,
or restructurings.
- Identify opportunities for tax savings while ensuring compliance.
- Stay updated on tax law changes and interpret their impact on the
company.
5. Financial Reporting & Audit Support
- Support tax-related disclosures in financial statements.
- Prepare tax schedules for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Assist in quarterly and annual tax provisioning and reporting.
Requirements
Skills & Competencies
- Minimum 3-5years of experience in finance and taxation.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from a recognized institute (e.g., ICAI in India)
- Strong understanding of Direct Tax, GST, and applicable
regulations.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
