[ASAP Starter] IT Business Analyst – Mid level

Job Description

We are looking for an IT Software Business Analyst with strong communication skills and a basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, document business needs, and ensure software solutions align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, developers, and QA teams.

• Prepare business requirements documents, process flows, and user stories.

• Participate in SDLC activities, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and implementation.

• Facilitate discussions, clarify requirements, and support issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

• At least 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, IT, or software-related roles is preferred.

• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Experience working with technical teams and business stakeholders is an advantage.

• Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge and strong communication skills may also be considered.

Required Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• Basic knowledge of software development processes and project methodologies.

• Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into clear documentation.

• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, or similar documentation tools is an advantage.
