Functional Analyst - Odoo
Summary
Functional Analyst for Odoo ERP implementation projects: gathers and documents client requirements, runs fit-gap analysis, configures Odoo modules (Sales, Inventory, Accounting, etc.), writes functional specs, supports SIT/UAT, data migration, user training, and go-live. Core tool is Odoo, with basic SQL/Python a plus.
Salary: Rp 7.000.000 – Rp 10.000.000 per month
About the role
We are looking for a Functional Analyst with hands-on Odoo experience to translate business needs into working system configurations. You will join implementation projects from requirement gathering through go-live and post-implementation support, working closely with clients, project managers, and developers.
Key responsibilities
Conduct requirement gathering workshops and document business processes (as-is and to-be)
Perform fit-gap analysis between client needs and standard Odoo functionality
Configure Odoo modules according to agreed business processes (e.g., Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, HR)
Write functional specifications and user stories for customizations, and coordinate with developers during development
Prepare test scenarios, support SIT and UAT, and track and resolve defects
Support data migration: prepare templates, validate data, and assist with import
Deliver end-user training and prepare user manuals or SOPs
Support go-live, handover, and post-go-live issue resolution
Communicate progress, risks, and issues to the Project Manager and client stakeholders
About you
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Business Analyst in ERP/system implementation
Hands-on experience with Odoo (Community or Enterprise), including module configuration in at least one or two functional areas
Solid understanding of core business processes, such as order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, and basic accounting
Ability to write clear functional documentation (BRD, FSD, user stories, test cases)
Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills
Good command of English and Indonesian, spoken and written
Experience with Odoo 16, 17, or 18 (preferred)
Familiarity with Odoo Studio, automated actions, and basic reporting or dashboards (preferred)
Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or the Odoo data model (preferred)
