IT EXECUTIVE - FM PORT KLANG [IT DEPARTMENT]
Summary
Entry-level internal IT support role at a logistics company in Port Klang: the IT Executive handles daily helpdesk tickets, installs and maintains hardware/software, tracks IT assets, applies basic security controls, and troubleshoots network and system issues for end users. Salary: RM 2,200 – RM 3,000 per month
About the role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Executive to manage, maintain, and support our organization's daily IT operations, infrastructure, end-user systems support and providing technical support to our team.
Key responsibilities
Respond to user requests, troubleshoot issues (hardware/software/networking)
Install, configure, and upgrade hardware (desktops, notebooks, printers, scanners) and software
Perform routine system checks, updates, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance
Implement security controls, manage antivirus, and enforce policies to prevent breaches
Document and track all IT assets, software licenses, and spare parts
Diagnose and resolve computer crashes, software errors, network issues
Reset passwords and perform basic troubleshooting
Document all reported problems and their resolutions
Assist with network support and system performance monitoring in more complex environments
Job Requirement
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Fresh graduates with strong internship exposure are welcome to apply
Proficiency in Windows (10/11) operating systems
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Admin Centre, Active Directory, or cloud environments
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls)
Strong analytical problem-solving abilities
Excellent time management
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users clearly
