IT Project Manager (Digital Products)

Summary

Manages end-to-end delivery of digital products, coordinating Agile teams, vendors, and testing phases to ensure on-time, secure releases and smooth post-launch support.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.
  • Track project progress against scope, sprint commitments, and release schedules, resolving delivery risks and dependencies.
  • Coordinate release planning, production deployment, operational readiness, post-launch stabilization, and business handover.
  • Support Agile delivery by facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and follow-up actions.
  • Monitor vendor performance, contractual deliverables, payment milestones, and project escalations.
  • Prepare project status reports, governance updates, steering committee materials, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), operational readiness, security assessments, and release readiness activities.
  • Track defects, remediation plans, cybersecurity risks, and compliance activities to support successful production releases.
  • Manage project budgets, procurement activities, invoices, contracts, and asset tracking.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of experience managing or supporting the delivery of digital products or enterprise systems from planning through implementation and post-launch support.
  • Strong project management skills, including risk, issue, dependency, vendor, budget, procurement, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with experience preparing project reports, governance papers, and meeting documentation.
  • Professional certifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, PMP, or Business Analysis are are a plus.
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related discipline preferred.
