As a Management and Program Analyst, you will develop new, or recommend changes to, existing issuances and directive to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the program office.
The responsibilities described are for the full performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope performed with less independence, and limited complexity.
Supports the implementation and coordination of a variety of initiatives impacting the E-Verify, and Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) Programs.
Supports the development and evaluation policies and recommends actions to achieve program objectives and improvements related to form reviews that support USCIS' humanitarian missions and other agency programs and initiatives.
Participates in various studies, working groups, and testing of new business systems.
Uses analytical techniques and statistics to assess issues related to management processes, systems or in support of programs.
Supports division program and initiatives by developing and carrying out action plans in order to accomplish agency goals and objectives.
Develops and evaluates policies in assigned areas of responsibility for management.
Communicates both orally and in writing, to audiences of various sizes and from differing demographics.
Supports the review of background information for studies, compiling statistical data from testing and evaluations.

Residency Requirement: There is a residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. This residency requirement states that candidates must have, for three of the last five years immediately prior to applying for this position; (1) resided in the United States; OR (2) worked for the United States Government as an employee overseas in a Federal or Military capacity, OR (3) been a dependent of a U.S. Federal or Military employee serving overseas. Probationary Period: You may be required to serve a probationary period of 1 year.
