Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer (Data Centre Cooling Infrastructure)
Summary
A pre-sales solutions engineer supporting the sales team for data centre cooling infrastructure: giving technical advice, running product demos, preparing proposals, site surveys, solution designs, BOMs and cost estimates. Requires mechanical engineering expertise, especially thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and HVAC/cooling sales experience.
- Support the sales team by providing technical advice, product presentations, and solution demonstrations to customers.
- Prepare and validate technical proposals, including site surveys, solution designs, BOMs, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver customized engineering solutions that meet project objectives.
- Conduct product training and technical knowledge sharing to support sales activities and improve customer engagement.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in technical sales and customer relationship management within the HVAC or cooling solutions industry .
- Well-versed in mechanical engineering disciplines, with particular strength in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
