Presales Engineer (Fresh Graduates Welcome)

Salary: RM 4,000 – RM 6,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

1. Presales & Customer Support

- Support Proof of Concept (POC) activities, product demonstrations, and customer trials.

- Assist the Sales team by providing technical support during customer meetings, product presentations, exhibitions, trade shows, and marketing events, including booth setup and on-site demonstrations.

- Understand customer requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical requirements for internal Product and R&D teams. Coordinate with these teams to provide customers with appropriate technical solutions, clarifications, and timely feedback.

- Support product deployment, testing, and troubleshooting when required.

- Provide technical support for customer inquiries and after-sales issues when necessary.

2. Product Testing & Technical Support

- Conduct functional testing and validation for AIoT, Smart Home, CCTV, and related products before deployment.

- Test and validate mobile applications, web interfaces, software features, and device functions.

- Perform basic cloud environment setup, integration testing, and system validation to ensure products and applications function properly in cloud environments.

- Identify, reproduce, troubleshoot, and document hardware, software, application, and networking issues.

- Prepare test cases, test reports, user guides, and technical documentation.

- Work closely with Product and R&D teams, including teams based in China, to report product issues, follow up on resolutions, and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred to facilitate effective technical communication and collaboration.

3. Technology & Product Development

- Demonstrate a strong interest in AI technologies, Smart Home applications, and emerging technology trends, with a willingness to explore and test new AIoT, Smart Home, CCTV, software, and application technologies.

- Research and analyze competitors' products, including technical specifications, product features, market positioning, business strategies, and pricing, to support product evaluation and business decision-making.

4. Tender & Bid Support

- Participate in end-to-end tender and bidding activities, with a focus on preparing, organizing, reviewing, and submitting tender documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with submission requirements.

- Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a meticulous approach to tender documentation and administrative tasks.

- Prepare high-quality technical responses, Statements of Compliance (SOC), compliance documents, and proposal materials.

- Support contract discussions, technical clarifications, and customer evaluations throughout the procurement process.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above, major in electronic engineering, communication engineering, Internet of Things, intelligence and other related majors is preferred.

• 1–3 years of working experience in presales or after-sales on telecommunication industry. Fresh graduate are most welcome.

• Experience in CCTV, AIoT, Smart Home or networking products will be an added advantage.

• Proficiency in English is required. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred for effective communication with China-based Product and R&D teams.
