Senior IT Engineer (Construction)
Salary: $4,500 – $6,000 per month
Basic up to $6,000
Performance Bonus up to 3 months
Working Hours: Mon - Fri (8.30am-5.30pm)
Location: Commonwealth
1 year contract (Renewable) - Convertible to Permanent
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, Windows, Microsoft 365, network, and user-related issues.
Troubleshoot and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
Perform basic LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and network troubleshooting.
Assist with Sophos Firewall administration and troubleshooting.
Manage basic Active Directory tasks, including user accounts, password resets, permissions, domain access, and Group Policy.
Set up, deploy, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective.
Maintain IT hardware/software inventory and basic system documentation.
Coordinate with external IT vendors on quotations, procurement, repairs, warranties, and support cases.
Escalate complex technical issues when required and ensure IT systems remain operational and properly maintained.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Previous experience in IT support, helpdesk, desktop support, or an IT infrastructure environment would be an advantage.
